The attached report summarizes the client activity and economic impact for the Illinois Entrepreneurship Network (IEN) Centers located in the North Central Region. The North Central Region includes DeWitt, Fulton, Livingston, Marshall, Mason, McLean, Peoria, Stark, Tazewell, and Woodford counties. Funding for these centers is provided, in part, by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the host institutions where these centers are located.

These centers provide management, marketing and technical assistance, consulting services, education and training workshops and seminars and information to individuals interested in starting their own business; to owners and managers of existing small businesses; to individuals and small companies needing assistance to develop new products and technologies; to companies seeking to expand their sales by entering new markets, both domestically and foreign, or by doing business with federal, state and local governments, and to manufacturers seeking to contain costs, improve quality and optimize their supply chains.
