Entrepreneurship Program Ranked By Leading Business Publication

Spring 2003

In its April issue, "Entrepreneur" magazine identified the Foster College of Business Administration's entrepreneurship program among the best of those with a limited entrepreneurship curriculum. Over 700 entrepreneurship programs were rsearched and evaluated from September to December 2002 by TechKnowledge Point Corp., a research and referral exchange in Santa Barbara, California. The final rankings are based on more than 30 criteria, including course offerings, teaching, and business-community outreach.

Within each of the program categories: Comprehensive, Entrepreneurial Emphasis, and Limited Curriculum, schools are ranked in one of four tiers. Among the 75 colleges with Limited Curriculum programs, Bradley is included in the top tier. For a complete listing of all the ranked programs, please visit this website.

"It is gratifying to be ranked in the top tier of Limited Curriculum programs," said Dr. Fred Fry, Professor of Business Administration and Management. "This tells us that we are already being recognized for our efforts. It also sets a baseline from which we can increase our recognition as we continue to grow our academic program. In the next few months, we will be working to improve our offerings as well as increasing the visibility of the program."
