Roger is the Managing Director of the Turner Center for Entrepreneurship in the Foster College of Business Administration at Bradley University. Prior to joining Bradley University full-time in 1987 as the Director of the Bradley's Business Technology Incubator, Roger was an instructor in Advanced Systems Design, a senior-level computer design course in the Foster College of Business Administration. Previous business experience includes 17 years of creating, owning and managing several small, technology businesses; an internal consultant for a major oil company and as a principal in the management consulting practice of a major CPA firm.
Roger received his Associate Degree from the Institute of Aviation at the University of Illinois, then spent several years in the USMC before returning to the University of Illinois for a B.S. Degree in Industrial Administration and a MBA Degree in International Business. He is a graduate of the first class of the Community Leadership School presented by the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce. Roger has or is currently serving on the board of directors of several educational, business and economic development organizations and private businesses including: The National Business Incubation Association, Illinois Small Business Development Association, the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Peoria Designated Zone Organization. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Heartland Illinois Business Enterprise Center (HITEC), the Executive Committee for the Central Illinois Manufacturing Innovation Consortium; a member of the Vocational Committee of Peoria Rotary Club, the National Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers and the Business Team of Peoria Next. |
