Ross is the Director of the Illinois Small Business Development Center. His primary duties include assisting small businesses use technology in their companies. He also works with companies on a variety of marketing and start-up issues. Ross has presented a number of seminars in the area about web site development, eBusiness, and search engine optimization.

After receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of South Dakota, Ross spent 4 years in the advertising industry. At the beginning of 1997, he began selling and managing web site development and marketing projects. Initially working with small businesses in Kentucky, then working with Fortune 500 manufacturers to develop effective web sites. Ross has received additional training in CRM project management through DCI and eBusiness eCommerce Certification from University of Illinois Chicago. This training focused more on the business processes that need modified before the technology is implemented.
