CPIM Part 1

This course will examine the many aspects of supply chain management, including the importance of producing achievable master schedules that are consistent with business policies and exploring objectives and resource constraints. Participants will also learn techniques for scheduling and controlling production processes, the execution of quality initiatives and continuous improvement plans and the control and handling of inventories. Finally, the course will cover the various techniques for material and capacity scheduling, study detailed descriptions of material requirements planning (MRP), capacity requirements planning (CRP), inventory management practices and procurement and supplier planning.

NOTE: This course consists of a combination of four previous courses: Master Planning of Resources; Detailed Scheduling and Planning; Execution and Control of Operations; and Strategic Management of Resources.
