Kemper History Project
The Kemper History Project was a collaborative writing project undertaken by Bradley University's College of Education and Health Sciences between March 2016 and February 2017 for the purpose of compiling and documenting the College's professional development school (PDS) initiatives, programs, and projects from 1995 to 2016 in partnership with the William T. Kemper Foundation-Commerce Bank, Trustee and ten different schools in the Peoria area.
The final outcome of the project is a 155-page book, co-authored by 15 different people who were involved in Bradley's Kemper PDS Project in various ways over the years. In addition to 22 chapters, organized chronologically by academic year, the book features 11 reflections, two original poems, and numerous quotations from faculty, students, teachers, and administrators from Bradley University and Bradley's PDS sites.
Along with a limited number of print copies, the entire book is available online via the links below. We hope you enjoy reading Bradley University's Kemper Professional Development Schools (PDS) Project: 1995-2016!
