Ken serves as the first Managing Director of the Turner School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation after its creation in 2012. His responsibilities include day-to-day management of the Turner School, creation of new student entrepreneurship activities and programs, and primary contact with students and faculty. He also serves the Foster College of Business as an instructor in the areas of entrepreneurship and management.

Ken has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Illinois State University, as well as a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law. He practiced law in Houston, Texas for 13 years, primarily in the areas of bankruptcy, business & commercial law, and acquisitions. For 6 of those years, Ken served as a court-appointed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee for the Southern District of Texas.

Ken first joined Bradley University in 1998 as the Assistant Director of the Illinois Small Business Development Center, and became its Director in 2000. In 2006 he became Director of Programs at the Turner Center for Entrepreneurship, providing business advice to companies in Central Illinois on topics including: business plan preparation, financial management, business start-up and marketing.


Ken has taught courses in small business management, family business, and entrepreneurship. Currently he teaches courses on managing entrepreneurial growth, collaboration in organizations, and innovation in organizations.  Ken also manages the capstone business and engineering convergence projects, where business students work collaboratively with engineering students to design and commercialize an innovation.
