Nearly 60 Bradley students will be visiting China during Spring break. This will be the largest group from Bradley making the long journey over the Pacific and includes both undergraduate and graduate students. The 2006 group (pictured above) consisted of nineteen students. Students will be visiting China as part of their regular semester studies. The trip includes students from IB204 – Business in Chinese Culture, led by Doug Crowe, and students in RLS 338 & 350 led by Dr. Dan Getz. Both classes are utilizing the “embedded’ format of study abroad in which students enroll in the class as part of their regular Spring semester course load, but travel to China during Spring break. This offers a chance to integrate the cultural, historic, and business visits into the classroom before and after the trip. Rounding out the group are MBA students enrolled in BUS 681 Professional Development led by Dr. Ed Sattler. The highlight will be on Sunday, March 15 when the entire group will be visiting The Great Wall. Photos in the next newsletter!
