Six Resources to Keep up with the Affordable Care Act

The Affordable Care Act was signed into Law in 2010. A large portion of the law will come into effect at the beginning of 2014. Many of these provisions will affect businesses, specifically, businesses that employ 50 or more full-time employees. The ACA has a new method to calculate that number: start with total employee work hours in a week and divide by 30 hours to determine the number of full-time employees for purposes of the ACA. Any business with over 50 employees will need to comply with the new mandates.
