Case Study Champs

Bradley’s APICS chapter won the supply chain management organization’s annual international case competition, giving the university its first win at the event.

The competition is a yearlong series in which the team developed top case studies at a general qualifying round in the fall, a regional qualifier in the winter and the October international final in Chicago. Two hundred schools participated. In the championship round, Bradley competed against teams from Canada, Mexico and India, as well as Georgia Tech, Harvey Mudd College and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Since joining APICS tournaments in 2012, Bradley's teams consistently finished among the top eight in regional rounds.

Bradley’s team included Heather Hawkins ’19, an industrial engineering major from DeKalb, Ill.; Mark Hernandez ’18, a global supply chain management graduate from Carol Stream, Ill.; Matthew Kern ’19, an industrial engineering major from Zionsville, Ind.; and Logan Welling ’19, an industrial engineering major from Guttenberg, Iowa. Dr. John Yoo is the faculty advisor.
