Dr. Joshua Lewer has been appointed the McCord Professor of Executive Management Development at Bradley University.

The Professorship encourages professional excellence and rewards a faculty member who creatively educates students in the business and management curriculum to prepare them for successful careers in business. The Robert A. McCord Professorship for Executive Management Development was established by officers and directors of Illinois Mutual Life Insurance Company on July 31, 1990, in honor of Robert A. McCord upon his retirement as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the company.

An award-winning author and lecturer, Dr. Lewer is associate professor of economics at Bradley and Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn, Germany.
