Join Dr. Russell-Chapin and her Bradley University students for this joint graduate school class/OLLI study group on neurocounseling.  New technologies have upended long-held notions of the brain's ability to grow and change and are allowing us to peer into the brain's structure and function.  Mental health counselors are harnessing these discoveries into interventions such as mindfulness, meditation, neurotherapy, and neurofeedback.  These strategies will be demonstrated, discussed, and practiced. This is Bradley course ENC 608 - Brain-Based Counseling Interventions.  Participants are requested to purchase or rent Neurocounseling: Brain-Based Clinical Approaches (ISBN 9781556203640) from the Bradley Bookstore or local and online retailers.

$45 - facilitated by Dr. Lori Russell-Chapin, nationally recognized leader on neurocounseling, and professor, Department of Leadership in Education, Nonprofits, and Counseling at Bradley University. (Returning facilitator/new group)
