Vaccination Mandate

Will vaccinations be required for OLLI programs?

OLLI members are considered students, and each OLLI program is a university-sponsored event. All members, therefore, fall under this mandate and proof of vaccination will be required to participate (with the exception of virtual classes and study groups, and programs such as Support Local and Travel Beyond Peoria).

If a member is not vaccinated, they must provide proof of negative results for a test taken no more than three days prior to each program/class day/study group meeting.

Masks will be required indoors at all program locations, regardless of vaccination status. This includes shuttles, buses, and off-campus facilities.

Volunteer instructors and facilitators who teach once a week are considered guest speakers and do not fall under the vaccine mandate. They are required to wear masks. If an instructor/facilitator is taking classes or participating in other OLLI events, however, they will be required to comply with the mandate.

If you are not feeling well, please STAY HOME and consult with your physician.

How will Bradley check and file proof of vaccinations?

OLLI members will be required to present their vaccination cards electronically or in person to Continuing Education staff starting today, September 1, 2021. The documentation will be stored in Bradley’s confidential, encrypted, secure file exchange site. You may cover your date of birth on the documentation.

When do I need to provide proof of vaccination?

Members only need to submit their proof of vaccination one time. We ask that you submit this documentation immediately, and no later than 24 hours prior to your first OLLI program.

Will Continuing Education staff contact members who have not provided proof of vaccination to tell them they cannot attend?

Continuing Education staff will contact any registrant (by phone and email) who has not submitted documentation 24 hours before the program. If they are unable to provide it, they will be informed of their removal from the roster until such documentation is received.
