What You'll Learn

The Autoethnography Certificate consists of six modules, focused on the following topics:

  2. Module 2: Beginning Autoethnography
  3. Module 3: Doing Autoethnography
  4. Module 4: Writing Autoethnography
  5. Module 5: Ethical Issues of Doing Autoethnography
  6. Module 6: Evaluating Autoethnography

How You'll Learn

The certificate contains 6 modules. Most learners will finish the course within 6 weeks, spending approximately 7 hours each week on video lessons, readings, writings, 1:1 live meetings with the instructor, and a final project.

Who You’ll Learn From

Faculty: Dr. Tony Adams

Tony Adams, Ph.D. is Caterpillar Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication at Bradley University. Before Bradley, he worked at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) for nine years. At NEIU, he served as the Director of Graduate Studies (2011-2014) and as Chair of the Department of Communication, Media and Theatre (2014-2017).

What You'll Earn

Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a digital certificate with metadata detailing learning objectives, time spent on the course, etc. so it may be used to request credit from other universities.
