Michael HullMr. Michael W. Hull is a Bradley University music faculty member and classical guitar performer.  Michael has over 25 years of guitar teaching experience and is the only certified Childbloom® Guitar Program Director in Illinois.  His love of music, sense of humor, and patient temperament make him
well-suited to work with students of all ages.

For Our Piano Program

Michelle BrowerMrs. Michelle Brower is a pianist who grew up locally, and before her collegiate years, studied with Brenda Conroy. She graduated from Illinois State University with both a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree in Piano Performance.  While at ISU, she studied privately with Gellert Modos, and for pedagogy, with Dr. Carlyn Morenus.  Michelle has been teaching piano for over 20 years and has accompanied for many schools, choirs, and theater companies in the Peoria area, as well as the Tucson, AZ area.  Michelle applies a strong emphasis on music theory to her approach of teaching and provides an enthusiastic and fun environment for learning to play the piano.  

Mark De ZwaanAmerican pianist Mark De Zwaan has been featured as a classical artist and music educator across the United States and China. De Zwaan has led masterclasses at venues such as the Steinway Gallery in Hangzhou and the Steinway Pacific Headquarters in Shanghai, and has performed at universities and festivals across the United States. He was also featured on the Silvermine Artist Series and in numerous concert engagements as a member of the American Liszt Society. De Zwaan’s dimensional approach to performance and teaching is evident in his multi-disciplinary aptitude for music-making. In his youth, he was awarded both the Woody Herman and Louis Armstrong jazz awards, and he remains a dedicated purveyor of jazz and popular music as both performer and teacher. De Zwaan was a student of Karen Shaw and holds four degrees from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, including a Doctorate of Music in Piano Performance and Literature.
