Biography

Dr. Anna M. Viviani is a professor in the Department of Education, Counseling, and Leadership. Dr. Viviani joined Bradley in January 2023 after nearly 11 years at Indiana State University. She previously served as an adjunct instructor at Bradley University and the University of Iowa.

Office Hours:Tuesday 3:00 –4:30 and by appointment

Teaching

Dr. Viviani routinely teaches courses in clinical mental health counseling, ethics, foundations, and crisis & trauma interventions.

Scholarship

Dr. Viviani has presented at conferences locally, regionally, and nationally on the long-termimpact of childhood sexual abuse andeating disorders. She has also presented on topics such as counselor identity development and disenfranchised grief in counselor education.

Service

Dr. Viviani has served as program director, Counseling Clinic coordinator, and acting department chair at her pervious institution as well as served on a wide variety of committees to support the institution and its students.She currently serves as Journal reviewer forJournal of Humanistic Counseling and the Counseling & Values Journal.
