With small class sizes and opportunities to develop undergraduate research projects, FCS students form working relationships with faculty. Some students have become published researchers during their time at Bradley, and many have taken advantage of opportunities to present their research at national professional conferences.
Graduates of this department have varied career options and have enjoyed a very high job placement rate. Family and Consumer Sciences Alumni are employed in the retail industry, taking up such specialties as management, buying and visual merchandising among others. Graduates also work in various food and nutrition positions including hospitals, long term care facilities, restaurant management, public health departments, pharmaceutical sales, and in health related government venues.
