About our Department
On behalf of our faculty, staff, and students, I would like to welcome you to the Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering & Technology (IMET) at Bradley University.
Our student-oriented faculty is one reason why IMET at Bradley has gained a well-respected reputation for its quality education. With our experienced group of faculty members, IMET at Bradley focuses on valuable, hands-on education and concentrates on addressing today’s most pressing issues through innovative research in our state-of-the-art facilities. Our IMET faculty and staff is committed to providing the best learning environment possible and ensuring that both undergraduate and graduate students obtain the skills that employer’s treasure today and will be seeking in the future.
The IMET Department, located in Morgan Hall, houses some of the most current computing labs and manufacturing facilities. We offer three computer labs with over 50 networked computers that include high-speed Internet and advanced software. IMET at Bradley is also home to a working manufacturing facility where students not only learn traditional manufacturing processes but also become familiarized with automated, high-tech computer-integrated machines, etc.
IMET offers B.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering Technology; M.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering. Students at all levels are given the opportunity to participate in co-op programs, study abroad programs, research projects and professional societies that further student development.
