Tenure Track Faculty Position

The Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering & Technology at Bradley University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor.  Candidates with education (and experience) in the areas of manufacturing and/or industrial engineering are encouraged to apply. Additional desirable skills include the ability to teach introductory drawing, manufacturing labs, and computer skills.

The successful candidate must have a terminal degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering or a closely related field; should have an undergraduate degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering, or a closely related area; and the ability to teach effectively at both undergraduate and graduate levels. A record of accomplishment indicative of the ability to develop and sustain an externally-funded research program would be positively considered.

Applications and nominations will be accepted until the position is filled.  Initial screening of the applicant pool will commence on June 15, 2013.  Applicants should provide a short statement detailing their philosophy and ambitions for teaching and research in a primarily undergraduate institution, complete curriculum vita, and a list of three professional references (with full contact information) who may be contacted during any stage of the search.
