International Studies

The international studies minor gives you an introduction to the factors that influence world events and cultures. You’re exposed to international affairs through two faculty with Fulbright Scholar experience and foreign affairs experts in the Peoria Area World Affairs Council. You can study abroad to enhance many academic experiences. Outside the classroom, you can participate in student organizations such as the campus International Affairs Organization and International Humanitarian Law team. The minor, which is open to all students, often is paired with political science, international business, entrepreneurship and foreign language majors.
