Scholarships

Bradley University and the Department of Music have a number of scholarships, grants and awards designated for incoming students who choose to major in music. Talent awards range from $100 to $4,000 annually and are allocated by the Department of Music through the audition process. Students who receive these awards must remain a music major, maintain a GPA of 2.5 or above, and participate in an assigned major performing ensemble each semester. The financial aid office addresses other awards and grants as well as need-based awards. Students should see their high school or junior college counselor in order to complete the Financial Aid Form (FAFSA). To be assured of full funding from Bradley University, students should submit this form after October 1, 2019, and no later than March 1, 2020. Awards are limited. Early admission to the University and early auditions will enhance the student's chances of receiving music talent scholarships.

Music Minor and Non-Music Major Scholarships

Band, Choir, and Orchestra scholarships are available to all students at Bradley University, regardless of major. These awards range from $200 to $500 per year. Participation in an assigned ensemble is required.
