BU Nursing Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau Receives Award

October 4, 2013

Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, the Honor Society of Nursing, has been awarded the Showcase of Regional Excellence Awards in two categories:  Collaboration and Response to Vulnerable Populations.  These regional awards are a distinct honor for chapters who have excelled and have provided inspiration to other chapters.

The Showcase of Regional Excellence for Collaboration designation is given to those chapters who bridge the gap between research and practice, connect chapters with communities, engage in the global nursing network, share wisdom across generations, and collaborate with like-minded organizations.

The Showcase of Regional Excellence for Response to Vulnerable Populations designation is given to chapters who work to promote health and well-being of mothers and children as well as responding to the specific needs of older adults and other vulnerable populations.

Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International is recognized at the international level at the biennial meeting of the organization.  Congratulations to Epsilon Epsilon!
