Professor Hall retires, Professor Ryan begins

While it does not seem possible, the 2010-2011 academic year was Professor Hall’s 42nd year at Bradley University. Unfortunately for his colleagues and many students, the 2011 spring semester was also Professor Hall’s last semester as a full-time faculty member.  Professor Hall retired at the end of the spring semester and fittingly was appointed Professor of Political Science, Emeritus.

Professor Hall can begin his retirement with considerable pride in his exemplary record of teaching, research and service to Bradley University. He has been unwavering in his dedication and service to Bradley University and the institution is better for his efforts over these many years.

Meanwhile, the department is very pleased to announce that Professor Josh Ryan joined the Department of Political Science beginning with the fall semester 2011. Professor Ryan received his Ph.D. in political science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. His major area is American politics with an emphasis on political institutions such as the Congress and the Presidency. Professor Ryan’s primary teaching responsibilities will include American political institutions, state and local politics, as well as the Introduction to American National Government.
