Psychology Major Receives the 2014 Dr. Domenico Volturno Award

Colleen Geraghty, a double major in psychology and special education, is the recipient of the 2014 Dr. Domenico Volturno Award. This award is given annually to a student who values and demonstrates service to humanity and displays the late Dr. Volturno's interests of world religions and peace.

Colleen has given unselfishly of her time to numerous activities that exemplify her altruistic spirit.  During her years at Bradley, she has volunteered and tutored in several settings, including Saint Vincent de Paul Grade School, Robert A. Jamieson School, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, and St. Mark's School. This coming year, she will be part of the International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Action Campaign.  This project involves Bradley students and faculty, working in conjunction with the American Red Cross, to help educate Bradley students in international humanitarian law.
