December 11, 2012

Emmanuelle Bailey-Greene, a senior in psychology, and Caitlin Pribble, a freshman studying biochemistry and French, were recently featured in the Journal Star's Most Interesting Young Person contest.

The contest honors central Illinois youth ages 15 to 25 for their work and leadership in the community. Bailey-Greene and Pribble were both selected by a panel of six judges out of a pool of 85 nominees.

Bailey-Greene was recognized for organizing a public information campaign about lead exposure risks and for serving on the Bradley University Student Senate.

Pribble was noted for her volunteer work at food pantries and soup kitchens as well as making and donating hundreds of brightly colored pillow cases for young cancer patients in local hospitals.

Readers can find the full interviews with Bailey-Greene and Pribble on the Peoria Journal Star website.
