“Starting Your Business in Illinois” Workshop

The Turner Center for Entrepreneurship conducts a free workshop entitled “Starting Your Business in Illinois.” twice each month. At this workshop, attendees learn basic requirements to properly launch a business, including:

• Selecting the best legal form of ownership
• License and permit requirements
• Tax responsibilities
• Financing a start-up
• Preparing a business plan
