The Degree
Bradley’s Department of Communication offers an undergraduate curriculum leading to a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Organizational Communication. The Organizational Communication concentration focuses on the nature of communication in the workplace. Students working in this area develop expertise in:

  • team communication
  • influence and leadership
  • intercultural communication
  • organizational decision-making
  • socialization processes for organizational newcomers
  • the role of virtual teams and computer-mediated communication in the workplace

Students in the program receive instruction designed to enhance their ability to solve communication problems and to enhance their level of communication skill development. Bradley Organizational Communications students are a part of the Slane College of Communications and Fine Arts.

Slane College students have access to exceptional facilities, labs, studios, stages, and technology in five different buildings. Based in the state-of-the-art Caterpillar Global Communications Center, the Slane College offers students amazing technological opportunities through the use of:
