Sibling's Weekend is scheduled for February 23 - 25, 2018.  Check back in December of 2017 for the schedule!

Pricing

Siblings are encouraged to purchased the Basic Package, which should cover all of their needs while they are visiting Bradley.  Valued at $40, the Basic Package is available at $30 per Sibling.  Current Students will not need to purchase a Basic Package.  Tickets can also be purchased al-a-carte! The detailed pricing is below.

Basic Package $30.00 Includes: Markin Pass, Basketball Ticket and Transportation, Saturday Brunch, Sunday Brunch, Siblings Weekend Backpack, Movie Ticket with 2 Concession Vouchers
Basketball Ticket $10.00 One is included in the Basic Package.  Current Students will need a ticket for admission and these can be acquired at the Bradley Athletics Box Office. 
Markin Pass $7.00 One is included in the Basic Package. This allows siblings to access the Markin Recreation Center the entire weekend with access to Late Night BU, the pool, basketball courts, racquetball courts, and the rock wall.  If a sibling wishes to use the rock wall, they must turn in a Rock Wall Waiver.  If a sibling guest does not have this pass, they will need to pay the $5 guest fee to access Markin for LNBU and it will only be valid that Friday.
Movie Ticket with Concession Vouchers $4.00 One is included in the Basic Package.  This will allow the sibling to see any showing of the movie and have two items from the concessions stand.
Saturday Brunch in Geisert $6.50 One is included in the Basic Package. Current Bradley students can use their current meal plan or meal swipes. 
Saturday Dinner in Geisert $6.50 This ticket is not included in the Basic Package. Current Bradley students can use their current meal plan or meal swipes. 
Sibling's Weekend Book Bag 6.00 One is included in the Basic Package.
Sunday Brunch in Geisert 6.50 One is included in the Basic Package. Current Bradley students can use their current meal plan or meal swipes. 

Registration

Registration is closed. Registration will open in December 2017.  The deadline to register is February 12th at noon.

If you have a guest coming to Bradley and they wish to participate in the Rock Wall in the Markin Center, make sure that this waiver is completed and turned in along with the registration form.  Here is the waiver to participate in the Rock Wall.


Frequently Asked Questions

Where do we eat? 
On Friday, the Food Court in the Student Center is running a BOGO 50%, meaning when a student purchasing something, they can purchase a meal for their siblings at 50%.  Student can use food dollars, cash, or card.  On Saturday, brunch and dinner will be in Geisert.   On Sunday, brunch will also be in Geisert.  Tickets can be prepurchased online, paid for at the door, or use a meal swipe.  Both brunches are included in the Basic registration package.  Extra tickets can be prepurchased online, paid for at the door, or use a meal swipe.

Is Sibling's Weekend for a certain age group? 
The average age of a Sibling who attends is 14.  The weekend has been carefully constructed to meet the needs of all ages.  Many of the events hosted during the weekend occur throughout the year for your Bradley Student (Late Night BU, Trivia, Laser Tag, Open Swims, Illusionists, and Movies). 

Are there other events? 
Yes!  Many student organizations also host events for the Siblings of their members including board game nights, video game tournaments, and much more!  Just ask your Bradley Student!

How does a Sibling access Markin? 
If a Sibling purchases the Basic Registration Package, they will have free reign of the Markin Recreation Center throughout their stay. They can also purchase this al-a-carte if they do not want the Basic Package.  If a sibling wishes to use the rock wall, they must turn in a Rock Wall Waiver.  If a sibling guest does not have this pass, they will need to pay the $5 guest fee per day to access Markin.  A pass will be required to access Late Night BU on Friday. 

Is there a minimum age? 
While there is not a minimum age, we ask that you use your best judgment.  

Where do the sibs stay?
With their Bradley brother or sister – most residence hall rooms have plenty of space for a sleeping bag or two.

What should the sibs bring?
Sleeping bag, swimsuit, gym clothes/shoes

What is the deadline for registration?
Monday, February 12, 2018 at noon, central time. 

Can I just buy a backpack?
Of course! Just complete the additional backpack portion of the registration form.

What if I need to cancel?
Full refunds will be available until February 10, 2018. After that date, the cost of the backpack will be subtracted from the refund. After February 23, no refunds will be available.
