STEP 1: BUnetID Activation, setting a new password, Forewarn notifications

Students MUST activate their BUnetID and set a password to complete the registration process for orientation. To activate your BUnetID, please go to your status portal and log in with the e-mail address you have been using. If you are having trouble activating your BUnetID and password please refer to the following tutorial video for further assistance.

Students MUST opt in or out of the Forewarn Emergency Text Messaging system on their MyBU page by clicking onto the “My Info” box. Once complete, please return to this site to register for orientation.

STEP 2: Orientation sign-up, making changes to your reservation or payments

Before logging in to register for an orientation session, talk with your parents/family members/guests about who is coming with you and the dates that work best for everyone. Once you begin the registration process, we will ask you for this information. Siblings 17 years old and under cannot attend an orientation session without a parent or family member.

PLEASE NOTE: If you need to change your orientation session after you have already signed up, add or subtract a family member and/or make additional payments, you may simply click on the link above from now until two weeks prior to the start of your assigned session. If you need to make a change or payment within two weeks of your assigned session please contact the orientation office at (309) 677-2420. Please allow 48 hours for your payment to be credited to your account.

STEP 3: Review orientation schedules with session descriptions

Session descriptions unavailable at the moment, please continue to check back.

The final 2018 orientation schedules will not be available until the summer. However, last year's June and July 2017 schedules are available. Changes will be made but these will give you some understanding of what will be occurring.

STEP 4: Valuable programmatic information

Please click on the links below for more in-depth details regarding orientation. Many of the questions you have can likely be answered by reading through the information provided here.

STEP 5: Print and review confirmation e-mail

Within two-three business days you will receive a confirmation e-mail that provides the following information: Payment status, important reminders, a check list of “to do” items prior to attending and items to bring. The information listed here is important, please thoroughly review and print a copy.

STEP 6: Student Health Form

Illinois State Law requires that students have a completed BU health form, including an immunization history, on file with Health Services. A doctor's physical is not required. To download this form, please click here. These forms should be completed and returned to Bradley Health Services, Bradley University, 1501 W. Bradley Avenue, Peoria, IL 61606-9986 or bring forms with you to orientation. For questions on the health form please contact (309) 677-2700 or bradleyhealthservices@bradley.edu

STEP 7: Mathematics assessment assistance

The Mathematics Department has created new practice tests, practice modules styled in a more tutorial fashion and a collection of videos gathered from the internet to help prepare you for the mathematics assessment you will be taking at your orientation session. These resources will not only assist you during orientation, but can help you be better prepared for success in college math. Please visit mathhost.org/bumath to take advantage of the support tools available—instructions at the bottom of the page will explain how you can log in with a guest account or with your six digit Bradley ID number. Please be aware that calculators are not allowed during the math placement test at orientation.
