A board game designed by Bradley University game design will soon be released with help of board and card game publisher APE Games.

Dark is the Night, a two-player game designed by juniors Zachary Abbott (Park Forest, Illinois), Arwen Boyer (Morton, Illinois) and Joshua Estill (Miami, Florida), began as a class project a year ago. They submitted the game to a contest at SaltCon, a board game convention in Utah.

The game caught the attention of APE Games founder and president Kevin Brusky, who worked with them and offered a publishing contract.

Dark is the Night is a two-player tabletop game in which one player is a hunter and the other is a monster. The object of the game is to navigate the board and eliminate the other player before time runs out.

With a Kickstarter campaign underway taking preorders, the team hopes the finished project will be on shelves in coming months.
