33rd Bradley International Print & Drawing Show

The 33rd Bradley International, juried by Robert Marx, will show beginning March 5 and conclude April 15. Works will be shown at Heuser Art Center Gallery, Bradley University, the Contemporary Art Center, 305 SW Water Street, and the Peoria Art Guild, 203 Harrison. The reception will be held on March 5 with a staggered reception at the following locations and times: Heuser Gallery 5-7 pm, Peoria Art Guild 6-8 pm, Contemporary Art Center 7-9 pm.

A lecture will be held by the juror, Robert Marx, on March 10, from 5-6 pm in the Horowitz Auditorium, Caterpillar Global Communication Center Room 126.

The Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition is the second-longest running juried print and drawing competition in the country. Every two years it features the best contemporary graphic artwork from around the globe. All accepted artwork is featured in a full-color exhibition catalogue and on the exhibition’s website.

Robert Marx’s long and illustrious career includes recognition as a master printmaker, an illustrator of more than a dozen books, a distinguished professor of art, and a Fulbright Scholar. He has had over 40 solo exhibitions of his prints, sculptures, and paintings around the world. His work is included in the permanent collections of numerous public and private institutions including the Brooklyn Museum, Museum of Modern Art, Corcoran Gallery, National Museum of American Art, Dallas Museum, Los Angeles County Museum, Philadelphia Museum, Whitney Museum, and the Seattle Art Museum.
