Dean Sattler recognized by University of Illinois
College of Education and Health Sciences Dean Dr. Joan L. Sattler honored as the 2013 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient by her alma mater.

Dr. Joan L. Sattler, dean of the College of Education and Health Sciences, was honored this week as the 2013 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient from the Education Alumni Association of the University of Illinois College of Education at Champaign-Urbana.
Dr. Sattler, who earned both her master’s and doctorate in education from the university, received the award for enhancing education in meaningful ways and having a positive impact on the lives of students.
Since 1995, the University of Illinois College of Education, in conjunction with its alumni association, has recognized the careers of its alumni who have demonstrated extraordinary contributions to the field of education.
