Bradley University will continue on-campus, in-person classes for the spring 2021 semester with limited restrictions.

Account Classifications

Restricted Funds is responsible for establishing grant/contract accounts, gift accounts, endowment and endowed spending accounts, and University designated accounts and for monitoring and reviewing transactions to said accounts.

  • Endowed Spending Accounts – 22 XX XXX, 23 XX XXX, 24 XX XXX, 25 XX XXX
  • Federal – 27  XX  XXX
    Any grant, contract, cooperative agreement from a federal agency or any subgrant, subcontract, or pass-through funds from an entity that receives federal funds and classifies Bradley University as a subrecipient. Federal awards are subject to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circulars A-21: Cost Principles for Educational Institutions; A-110: Uniform Administrative Requirements for Grants and Agreements with Institutions of Higher Education, Hospitals, and Other Non-Profit Organizations; and A-133: Audits of Institutions of Higher Education and Other Non-Profit Institutions. Most federal awards have a Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) number.
  • State – 28  XX  XXX
    Any grant, contract, agreement or award from an agency of the State of Illinois or any subgrant, subcontract, or pass-through funds from an entity that receives state funds and classifies Bradley University as a subrecipient.  State awards are subject to the Illinois Compiled Statutes and State of Illinois Agency regulations governing awards from that particular state agency.
  • Corporate – 29  XX  XXX
    Any grant, contract, agreement or award from a corporate entity, nonprofit organization, or foundation.  Corporate awards are subject to terms and conditions outlined in the grant, contract, or agreement from the funding source.

All federal, state, corporate, gift, university designated, and endowed spending accounts are subject to Bradley University rules, regulations, and guidelines.  University requirements and guidelines are found on the Controller’s Office website, in the respective Faculty and Staff Handbooks, and in the Research and Sponsored Programs Handbook from the Office of Sponsored Programs.
