College of Education and Health Sciences - Department of Education, Counseling, and Leadership, Assistant Professor In Residence, Teacher Education

The Department of Education, Counseling and Leadership in the College of Education and Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time, one-year, Assistant Professor in Residence position in Teacher Education. The position requires an earned Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, or a closely related field. The starting date for the position is August 2021.

Qualified applicants must have a teaching license and P-12 classroom teaching experience.  Preference will be given to applicants who have a background in Literacy Education. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teaching undergraduate courses, advising students, attending department and college meetings and committees as appropriate, and supervision of teacher candidates in their field experiences.
