College of Education and Health Sciences - Tenure Track Assistant Professor Department of Physical Therapy and Health Science

The Department of Physical Therapy and Health Science at Bradley University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. This appointment is for a nine-month contract with a possible required summer contract beginning in August 2021.  Primary teaching responsibilities include courses in the clinical doctorate (DPT) and courses in the undergraduate Kinesiology and Health Science program.  We are especially interested in individuals with substantial experience in orthopedics and one or more of the following areas: exercise prescription and healthcare management (marketing, use of health informatics for patient care/clinic growth, reimbursement).

Candidates must be a Physical Therapist eligible for licensure in the state of Illinois, possess an academic doctorate (PhD, EdD, DSc), or be enrolled in an academic doctoral program. Candidates without an earned academic doctorate will be considered, but are only eligible for tenure-track status upon completion of the required terminal academic degree.  Preference will be given to those with an earned academic doctorate degree (PhD, EdD, DSc) or a DPT. 

The Department of Physical Therapy and Health Science is comprised of a dynamic and collaborative faculty actively engaged in a student-centered learning environment. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship and service to the Department, College, University, profession, and community.
