Caterpillar College of Engineering and Technology - Assistant Professor in Residence (Non-Tenure Track) Position in Construction
The Department of Civil Engineering and Construction at Bradley University invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Construction starting in August 2021 or January 2022. This is a full-time appointment with a renewable yearly contract subject to performance. Duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising students, and engaging in service and scholarly activities. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications.
Applicants must possess a minimum of a Master’s degree in Construction Management or related field and appropriate professional experience. Preference will be given to those with teaching experience, an earned doctorate in Construction Management, or a terminal degree in architecture. A broad background in construction practice, BIM, CADD (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation), sustainability, project management, estimating, and scheduling is desired.

The department is home to the Center for Emerging Technologies in Infrastructure (CETI) and has strong ties to major industrial partners. The selected candidate will join a department with a deep rooted tradition of teaching, scholarship and service to society and the profession. CEC faculty are active participants in professional organizations such as ACCE, ACI, AISC, ASC, ASCE and others. Over the years faculty have secured multi-million dollars in research grants, and authored numerous textbooks and journal/conference publications. The department currently has eleven full-time faculty members and approximately 275 students.
