College of Liberal Arts and Sciences - Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Psychology

The Bradley University Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Cognitive Psychology or closely related area beginning August 2019. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to high-quality undergraduate education and an active research program that meaningfully engages undergraduate students. The candidate should be prepared to teach Brain and Behavior and Quantitative Methods. An interest in developing specialized courses in an area of expertise or in contributing to existing course offerings in cognition is encouraged.

Ph.D. in Psychology or allied field by August 2019 is required.   Qualified candidates should submit a cover letter addressing the qualifications for the position, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching effectiveness, 3 to 5 relevant (p)reprints, and three letters of recommendation. Candidates should also submit brief statements of teaching philosophy and research program.  Information regarding how the candidate has or can contribute to diversity in teaching, research, or service should be provided either within the teaching and/or research statements or in a stand-alone diversity statement.
