College of Liberal Arts and Sciences – Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Psychology

The Department of Psychology at Bradley University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, open-area Assistant Professor to begin August 16, 2020. Preference will be given to candidates with research interests in diversity and inclusion.

The successful candidate must demonstrate interest in teaching a team-taught introduction to psychology course and an undergraduate statistics course. Additional course offerings could include one or more of: Cross-Cultural Psychology, Health Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Prejudice and Stereotyping, or Social Psychology.

Applicants will have a Ph.D. in any area of Psychology or complete their Ph.D. by August 15, 2020. We encourage applications from any research orientation in psychology.

Qualified candidates should submit a cover letter addressing the qualifications for the position, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching effectiveness, three to five relevant (p)reprints, and three letters of recommendation. Candidates should also submit brief statements of teaching philosophy and research program.  Information regarding how the candidate has or can contribute to diversity in teaching, research, or service should be provided either within the teaching and/or research statements or in a stand-alone diversity statement.
