Application Hours  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 1-4 pm; Thursday and Friday, 9-11 am

 

NOTE:

The scheduled hours for this position during the academic year are:

Monday through Friday: 12pm - 8:30pm (40 hours per week)

 

The scheduled hours for this position during the summer weeks are:

Monday through Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

 

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete phone calls to prospective students regarding their application, admissions programs, missing materials, and other statuses. Enter prospective student data into the Admissions database.  Assist with managing the printing, assembly, postage, and delivery of the materials sent from Admissions Office.  Enter all course information and equivalent Bradley course information with Gen Ed coding into the database for all new transfer students and freshman, with hours for creation and maintenance of permanent record. Provide office support for the daily activities of the operations department.  Perform other duties as assigned.  The incumbent is expected to perform duties and responsibilities independently during the evening hours when no supervisor is present.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of three years office experience that demonstrates: ability to work independently; effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; strong analytical, problem solving and mathematical skills; ability to show respect and sensitivity for cultural difference and work/interact with a variety of internal and external constituents.  The successful candidate must have a strong positive work ethic; possess a commitment to maintaining confidentiality; is proficient in computer operations and programs including Microsoft Office Suite; excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to multi-task and handle detail job tasks with accuracy; ability to draft correspondence and reports; ability to work with periodic schedule changes; and coordinate and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and on deadline.

MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Selected candidate must have the mental and physical capabilities to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.  Work is performed in a normal office environment with little exposure to outdoor temperatures or dirt and dust.  Working conditions are typically moderately quiet.
