Lifelong Learning Opportunities This Fall

July 23, 2018

Registration for the fall programs of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) begins July 25 with a registration open house from 8 - 10 a.m. in the Bradley University Michel Student Center Ballrooms.

For those who like educational travel, OLLI will visit 35 local destinations where participants will enjoy behind-the-scenes tours of important, though often-overlooked, local areas. OLLI’s regional trips will take members to more distant locations including an opportunity to attend the blockbuster musical, Hamilton, in Chicago as well as trips to the Argonne National Laboratory, an Indiana dairy farm, and a 200-acre pumpkin patch near Arthur.

OLLI study groups will also convene this fall. For those who like an in-depth study of a favorite topic, study groups offer participants a unique opportunity to meet with like-minded peers in weekly sessions lasting for up to eight sessions. This fall, study groups will cover a diverse range of topics from gardening to nanotechnology, and from famous Peorians to iconic women journalists – and more!

OLLI is an organization sponsored by Bradley University whose members, age 50 and older, want to stay active and engaged as they reach and enjoy retirement. Learn more about OLLI at bradley.edu/olli.
