OLLI to Host Movie Screenings

 
 
Bradley University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) will host
movie watching and discussion events on Monday, May 22, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Wanee Cinemas in Kewanee and on Tuesday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Peoria Riverfront Museum. 
 
The event at Wanee Cinemas is $55 and includes transportation, a screening of the 1960’s musical-comedy Some Like It Hot, and lunch. Participants will have a post-viewing discussion, learn about the history of the Wanee Theater and have lunch at Cerno’s Bar and Grill.
 
The Museum event is $5 and includes a screening of the 1954 comedy Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
 
OLLI is an organization for people age 50 and older who want to stay active as they reach retirement. Participants enjoy a diverse collection of programs including non-credit classes, educational travel, study groups, and cinema events.
