The Bradley men’s basketball program ranks among the nation’s academic elite, earning the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award on Wednesday.
Of the 351 Division I schools in the country, Bradley was one of 47 programs to earn the national distinction. The award recognizes outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better for the 2016-17 season, including all student-athletes who competed during the year.
Bradley is only one of two schools in the Missouri Valley Conference (Drake) and one of four Division I programs in the state of Illinois (DePaul, Northwestern and Illinois) to earn the recognition.
