Bradley Names Chief Information Officer

Bradley University has named Zach Gorman Chief Information Officer, a position responsible for all aspects of Bradley’s information technology systems, services, budget and staff.

“One of the most important goals of Information Resources and Technology is to support the teaching, learning and administrative environments at Bradley,” said Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Walter Zakahi. “We are pleased to bring a person with such a breadth of expertise to help the University meet these important goals through strategic management of our technology initiatives.”

Gorman comes to Bradley from Georgia Institute of Technology where he has served as the Director for Information Technology. Formerly, he was the Associate CIO at Augusta University. In those positions, he has provided strategic leadership, vision and direction for all aspects of academic technology.

He has more than 15 years of progressive leadership skills with expertise that includes IT governance and policy, strategic planning, IT construction planning and design, and team building.

He earned an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from St. Ambrose University and a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Iowa State University. He is completing an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at Georgia Southern University and is a native of Solon, IA.
