A Tribute to Duke Ellington

The 19-member jazz ensemble at Bradley will perform music of the great bandleader Duke Ellington. Selections will include “Carava,” “Koko," “Cottontail," “Rockin’ in Rhythm," and others. The jazz ensemble is the flagship group of Bradley’s jazz program. Bradley's Hilltop Combo will perform “Take the A Train," “Satin Doll," “In a Sentimental Mood," and "Perdido." Music Scholarship Concert: No Ordinary Women

Bradley faculty soprano Courtney Huffman will be joined by guest pianist Dr. Chenny Gan in a mixed media event. The event spotlights the personal stories of real-life women in music, poetry, and visual arts. In addition to music and poetry, the personal stories and visual art from some of Bradley University’s talented female student artists will be on display. Bradley Chamber Music Concert

This concert features the student string and woodwind chamber music ensembles from the Department of Music. Featured ensembles are a string quartet, a woodwind quintet, and several duos. Composers include Felix Mendelssohn, Georg Philipp Telemann, J. S. Bach, Johannes Brahms, Jacques Mazas, Percy Grainger, and Eric Ewazen. Performing in the recital will be violinists Stephanie Cannon, McKenna Hulen, Kollynn Rivera, Emily Stoller, and Marcia Henry Liebenow, Jessica Everts and cellist Emily Lucas. Woodwind players are Magdalyn Mitchell - flute, Katrina King - oboe, Nathaniel Reginald - clarinet, Conor Sadauskas - French Horn, and Colton Wilder - bassoon. Collegium Musicum Concert

Piano Studio Recital

Under the direction of Dr. Chee Hyeon Choi and Elizabeth Clarke, the recital presents student performances in piano solo and duet works by J. S.
