Student Ensembles Present String Chamber Music Concert

The String Chamber Music Concert, featuring student ensembles from the Department of Music at Bradley University, will be presented Wednesday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Dingeldine Music Center, 1417 W. Barker Avenue. The concert is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature two string quartets and the Hilltop String Trio. The works being performed include Franz Josef Haydn’s String Quartet in G minor, Op. 74, No. 3 “The Rider,” Antonin Dvorak’s “American” String Quartet and trio pieces by Zoltan Kodaly and Robert Fuchs.

Performing in the recital will be violinists Jessica Everts, Hannah Gudeman, Kayla Michaels, Elizabeth Ramsden, Kollynn Rivera and Molly Wilson; violists Jessica Everts, Amber McGhee and John Nogaj; and cellists Sara Fessler and Charles Jenkins.

The string chamber music ensembles are coached by Marcia Henry Liebenow, who is Research Assistant Professor of Violin, Viola, and Chamber Music at Bradley and Concertmaster of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra.
