Guest Artist Recital: Volante Winds

The Volante Winds will perform a Guest Artist Recital at Bradley University in the Dingeldine Music Center on Tuesday, February 19 at 7:30 p.m. The performance is sponsored by the Arthur G. Heidrich Music Series Endowment and is free to the public.

Volante Winds has developed a national profile by being featured on Bloomington Indiana’s National Public Radio station - WFIU and Performance Today in 2019. The group was also a semifinalist in the 2018 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and in the 2017 Plowman Chamber Music Competition. In 2018, the quintet was invited to perform at the Mineral Springs Chamber Music Festival in Wisconsin.

Members of the Volante Winds include Suyeon Ko, a multi-faceted flutist, chamber musician, soloist and orchestral player; Rebecca McGuire, an oboist, active soloist, chamber and orchestral musician; Wai Ki Wun, a multifaceted musician, clarinetist, violinist, singer and conductor; Olivier Huebscher, horn, a Doctoral Candidate at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University; Sara Fruehe, bassoon, an active orchestral player, chamber musician and soloist.
