NASA Community Day Registration is Open

August 2, 2017

The registration site to attend community day for the NASA Centennial Challenges competition hosted by Bradley is open!

Bradley, Caterpillar and NASA are working together to advance critical systems needed for human space exploration to Mars and deeper into the solar system.  Together, we are hosting a competition where teams will use 3D printing technology to create habitats that could be built on Mars! And it’s happening right here in our back yard.

You can see it for yourself and be a part of the NASA 3D Printed Habitat Challenge on August 26th.   Join us from 9am - 1pm at the Caterpillar Edwards Demonstration and Learning Center to experience this incredible competition in person.

Watch the teams as they print and test components that could one day be built to house our astronauts on the Red Planet.  You can experience interactive displays from NASA, Caterpillar, Bradley and others.  Plus meet an astronaut, see an actual moon rock, and try your hand at a brand new video game that’s out of this world.

Registration is required.  Please visit Bradley.edu/challenge and click on the community information link to reserve your spot for Community Day.  There is limited capacity for this event.

Help us welcome these teams from around the world to our hometown and be a part of something amazing and potentially world changing!
