Mason Boore, a junior majoring in music performance, will present a trumpet recital on Tuesday, February 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. The performance is free and open to the public.
The recital will feature trumpets in different keys and will include compositions by George Handel, Johann Neruda, George Enesco, and Kent Kennan.
Mason is the son of A.J. Boore of Washington, Illinois, and is a 2014 graduate of Washington Community High School. He is a student of Dr. Todd Kelly of the Bradley Department of Music faculty and is preparing for a career in commercial trumpet playing.
