The Illinois Small Business Development Center and Turner Center for Entrepreneurship at Bradley University introduce the next round of participants in the Brave Launch business accelerator.
The media is invited to join us for the official kick off reception on September 26 in Westlake, Room 116. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with networking, hor d'oeuvres and drinks. The program begins at 6 p.m. Teams and organizers will be available for interviews.
Brave Launch is the first program of its kind in Central Illinois, designed to assist entrepreneurs to accelerate their business through innovative curriculum and real world interaction. This year’s applicants came from a variety of backgrounds: startups, small businesses, and Bradley University alumni. The program entails seven weeks of classroom activity and real world business model development.

4:8 Home Services – Dunlap IL
4:8 Home Services wants to give customers peace of mind and more free time. A technician will visit monthly in order to take care of basic home maintenance tasks. The services range from changing a furnace filter to taking care of minor repairs as needed.
Aunt Yogi’s Kitchen – Germantown Hills IL
Aunt Yogi’s Kitchen is a meal centered grocery store concept designed to reduce planning time and time spent in the store. All items needed to make a meal will be stocked together in order to make food preparation easy for the consumer.
CRC Life – Peoria IL
CRC Life is a 501(c)(3) Non Profit that improves the quality of life for survivors, caregivers and families through Support, Advocacy and Survivorship Programs.
Digital Dipstick – Tremont IL
Digital Dipstick is developing a product that will save farmers around 7-10 minutes daily by removing the ritual of having to check the oil before starting combines.Their device makes it easy to check oil levels and can save around 7 hours for the farmer during harvest time.
Mobile Mount LLC – Germantown Hills IL
Mobile Mount has developed what is essentially a cupholder for your smartphone at sporting venues. The mobile mount adds value to the consumer by allowing a space to place your phone and adds value to the venue by creating another location for advertisements.
