Bradley Ranked Among Top Game Design & Animation Schools in World

March 22, 2017

Bradley University is among the top 25 undergraduate game design programs in the world according to the Princeton Review's eighth annual ranking of the best schools to study game design.  Bradley's program is ranked 12th and is the highest ranked school in Illinois.
The Princeton Review chose the schools based on its 2016 survey of 150 institutions in the U.S., Canada and abroad offering game design degree programs or courses. It surveyed everything from the schools' game design academic offerings and lab facilities to their graduates’ starting salaries and career achievements.
Ethan Ham, Chairperson, Department of Interactive Media; Professor, Game Design, says "The ranking recognizes the great work that our students are doing. It tells game industry employers that our students have had an outstanding education in game development and that they are among the top game students in the world."  This is a growing field of study according to Ham and Bradley is tops in the country even though it is in the midwest which isn't seen as a hub for this activity.
At Bradley, aspiring game designers can study through the Slane College of Communications and Fine Arts and the Computer Science and Information Systems Department in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Bradley also ranks among the top 50 animation and game design schools in the country according to Animation Career Review.com.
